There is always something happening and so much to see and do in the Gold Coast, here are a few suggestions.

Amusement and Theme Parks

The Gold Coast is famous for its amusement and theme parks and there are many to choose from. Indoor skydiving, GC Wake Park, Dreamworld are just the many choices for the entire family to enjoy.

Tamborine Rainforest Skywalk

Located in the Gold Coast Hinterland, the skywalk is 45 minutse from Surfers Paradise. The walk showcases the beauty of the lush rainforest in a safe and exciting way. Tamborine Skywalk is one and a half kilometer rainforest walking experience which includes the Skywalk Bridge, the 40 metre Skywalk Cantilever and the Cedar Creek Viewing Platform, joined by a winding pathway along the canopy floor.

 

Harbour Town outlet shopping centre

With over 240 stores, Harbour Town is Australia’s largest outlet shopping centre. It offers up to 70 per cent off the original retail price, as well as specialty retailers, alfresco dining, entertainment and services. Visitors can also catch the free Outlet Shopping Shuttle to Harbour Town 7 days a week and receive free services and facilities at the Tourism Lounge, a free Tourist Discount Card, and access to a wide range of big name international brands such as Coach, Calvin Klein, Oroton and more!

 

Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

Interact with 100 species of Australian animals at the Koala Sanctuary. It is the world’s first and largest koala sanctuary, with over 90 years of experience and 130 koalas. In 2018, the sanctuary also opened the Brisbane Koala Science Institute; a world-class koala research facility in partnership with the Brisbane City Council. You can also enjoy an Australian outback farm experience at the faily Sheepdog Show.

 

Skypoint Observation Deck

SkyPoint Observation Deck is a must-see for all visitors. It has 360 views from the coast to the hinterland and informative feature zones and displays that provide all the information you need to plan your holiday.

At night, the deck transforms to a chic lounge bar with music every Friday and Saturday night and Sunset sounds on Sunday afternoon.

 

Surfers Paradise Beach

Australia’s famous beach lies at the heart of Queensland Gold Coast. Swim and surf along the expansive beaches with the 2km stretch of golden sand. The adjacent foreshore precinct is a hive of energy and home to towering beachside accommodation, alfresco dining and night markets. It is a must visit when you’re in the Gold Coast.
